Support that fits your team, and evidence that fits medicine.
Why this matters for organisations
Workplaces have a critical role to play in supporting the wellbeing of their staff. When preparing guidelines for enhancing wellbeing in GP training, only 6 were for individuals – the rest sat with workplaces and organisations (Prentice et al., 2023).
Workplace responses to wellbeing must be concrete and address multiple factors. Wellbeing workshops are one part of this multi-pronged approach that may help individuals to build greater self-care skills.

FAQs
The workshop is designed specifically for doctors, in particular GPs. However, the concepts are very relevant for all healthcare professionals and practice support staff. The workshop is intended to be applicable to all members in a health practice.
Attendees will develop practical, tailored strategies for promoting their wellbeing and what to do if they start to experience burnout. The workshop combines traditional learning and individual activities so that attendees have begun to develop a personalised wellbeing plan.
The workshop draws upon a wide body of psychological literature and approaches, with particular emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. It is also informed by research conducted specifically amongst GPs.
The cost of the workshop will depend on the group size, the location of the workshop, the format (i.e., webinar vs in-person), and the duration of the session. If any additional tailoring or particular focus is required, this will also be factored into the cost.
Yes! The workshop can be delivered entirely online. In my experience this can be a good compromise if your attendees will not be in the one location.
I would generally recommend a minimum of 5 attendees, with ideally 20 or above. There is no maximum group size for the workshop. If you have particular questions about how the workshop will be affected by the size of your group, please get in touch!
This will depend on whether travel and adjustments to the workshop are required. Generally, I will be able to deliver a webinar workshop more quickly. If you are not sure about timeframes, please get in touch and we can talk about this.
